Modified my mortgage. Told there were no strings attached. It would reduce the interest and provide a lower monthly payment. Wells Fargo should have some of its employees charged with crimes. We were not behind on our mortgage when we began, and credit scores went from excellent to poor in no time. During our attempts to apply for a loan modification we were given different reasons each time for why we were denied. We finally got professional help, but the Delisa Law Group, who was not hired directly by us, was just as unlawful as Wells Fargo, if not more. They harassed my whole family and their employers, and asked them to lie about chipping in. We paid $5000 and we were finally approved, resulting in a higher monthly payment, even with our tax reduction finally taken into account. Worst of all, after nearly 2 years of relentless PHONE CALLS by Wells Fargo for payment, at my husband’s WORKPLACE, he was fired. Unemployed for 10 days, we still made payments, but they were returned to us for 2 months, keeping us behind.
